Green, grassy glens

Cold, clear lochs

Plaids and argyle socks

Here in the land of the Scots.

over the glassy river

named Ness

in a park near Inverness.

Rainbows arc the sky

As kirk bells

Toll and thunder rolls

In Inverness.
